Privacy notice

Last updated: 25 September 2026

Who is responsible for your data

Maciej Domski, of Sadowa 54E, 82-300 Elbląg, Poland, is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. Contact us about privacy at privacy@runworld.net or by post at that address.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer.

Why we use your data

When you join the RunWorld waitlist, we use your email address and the record of your consent to send a confirmation email and, after you confirm it, RunWorld launch and product news. We rely on your consent for this marketing. You can withdraw it at any time, including through the unsubscribe link in a marketing email.

We also use limited technical information to protect the waitlist from abuse and maintain a keyed, non-readable suppression fingerprint after an unsubscribe only to prevent accidental re-mailing. Our basis for those limited security and suppression activities is our legitimate interest in securing the service and respecting your withdrawal of consent.

Data we collect and who receives it

We collect your email address, the consent wording/version and timestamps, confirmation-token data (stored only as a hash), and subscription status. We do not store your raw IP address or user agent in the waitlist record.

We use Supabase for database hosting in Ireland, Resend for email delivery, and Cloudflare for website hosting, Turnstile bot protection, and rate-limit storage. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us.

Some processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Supabase, Resend, and Cloudflare describe their applicable transfer safeguards in the Supabase Data Processing Addendum, Resend Data Processing Addendum, and Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum. These may include an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. You may contact us for information about the safeguard that applies to a particular provider.

How long we keep it

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to, rectification or erasure of your data; restriction of or objection to processing; and portability of data you provided. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing before withdrawal. To exercise a right, contact privacy@runworld.net. You may also complain to Poland’s supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Providing your email is voluntary, but we cannot add you to the waitlist without it and your consent. We do not use the waitlist data for profiling or solely automated decisions.
